I have severe allergies, they really mess with my mind right now. I find my thermometer my best friend right now. I am not watching everything it's too much for me so much conflicting stories. Ugh! I just tell myself breathe, relax, close your eyes, think of a happier time and I calm down. 🙏❤️😷

To be honest, I woke up this morning and feel a little "off". Nothing I can really put my finger on but to use a term a former co-worker used to use, I just feel a little "punk". No aches, no chills, no fever I don't think. I just feel "off".
No specific symptoms. Just don't feel right. And if does make you wonder if "something" is brewing or if you just feel off as all of us do sometimes.

Thought I would add a thought about symptoms of this virus.
You should know you don’t have to have every symptom to get this disease. With my DD, it was starting to have a tightening of the chest. And some fever. She immediately stayed home from her job and got tested. It took way too long for the results - 11 days! It was positive. Thankfully, she has recovered. And her DH was tested and negative. Quite a scare for our family.
If it could happen to her...well, it could be anyone. As a research scientist, she is as careful as they come. I thank God she is ok.

As I said in another thread, it's possible that I had a mild case of COVID-19 in February, but I don't have a lot of confidence in the true probability. I went to prompt care, tested negative for flu, and was told that it was just some sort of "uber respirartory virus" that was going around and would last 14-21 days. I've since been contacted and asked if I wanted to be tested for anti-bodies. I said yes, but only if it wasn't going to cost me anything (ie, the hospital group picked up the cost). My insurance won't cover any part of it, so I see no point in doing so.

Several weeks ago I was quite sick. I went to the Dr. and was swabbed. The swab showed Influenza B. They gave me Tamiflu. It did nothing for me. I have been 5 weeks getting over this.
I asked the question (online) if it's possible to have the B-flu and Covid 19 at the same time. The answer on that website said it was?? I have had 2 people ask me if I thought maybe I did have it and not know it. I didn't prompt those conversations but they are both close to me and were concerned about my symptoms. My answer to them was... "that thought had crossed my mind, too" I decided to play it safe now that I am finally over this stuff (although still weak and tired) and have quarantined myself for another 14 days.

No--but my allergies have kicked in big time this season with the sneezing, drippy nose, scratchy throat that can make me feel like I am getting a cold---but then I am taking my allergy meds now and all that is gone pretty much--however---my dd, ds and hubs all had kind of bad "colds" esp my son, that could have been specifically covid 19-----son was really sick with chest issues---I managed to escape it all---- this was in Jan/Feb just after it all started here in WA state--that started in Jan for us. and it was said that the virus was prob around here for weeks before it all blew up---who knows--testing for anti bodies may tell if
that is the case. I know that covid virus is what colds are caused from ----

I have a lot of allergies and therefore get sore throats on and off. It's hard not to wonder.

I'll admit to a little covid-19 symptom anxiety. I have allergies and the spring pollen season is in full force here so that is an issue. I also have asthma that is triggered by pollen, which compounds that issue. As an added bonus, my laundry detergent has apparently changed their formula to add more synthetic fragrance. I washed up all the bedding with my new bottle, changed the bed and immediately started wheezing. Between the pollen and the detergent fiasco, my asthma is pretty funky at the moment and I'm now using my rescue inhaler more frequently, which irritates my throat and makes me cough. So I am totally identifying with @cotton4me and her Rona meme right now. 😷

I am one of THOSE people who never gets sick. I have not even had a simple cold in at least 7 years. Yes, I take care of myself, an retired, I stay home most of the time so my contacts are limited. When I was working retail I had more colds etc.. so I assume the social distancing that I have done since retiring really has kept me well, along with getting my flu shots.
If I ever got this Covid19... I would know the first day I felt any symptoms. I am very sensitive to how my body is and the second one little thing is OFF... I KNOW IT.
Body aches and pains and fever and head ache are just so foreign to me... especially head aches.. I NEVER GET HEADACHES unless something is wrong.
