Actually it is usually my son who makes me crazy, DH and I get along well together for the most part.

Same here, and when he's hungry he is the biggest grouch. I try to catch it ahead of time to keep some peace. He even warns me if he's getting hungry. Heaven forbid he may have to make himself a lunch. He would go without before that happened.
