I have broken many glasses doing that and yet I still do it all the time

I have a tv in my bedroom but I stopped watching it. I would fall asleep to the tv, then like the OP stated, something would wake me up & I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep again, so I stopped watching the tv.
As for falling asleep with my glasses on, I do when I fall asleep on the sofa, but when I go up to my bed, I take my glasses off & put them on my nightstand.

Of course, I wouldn't do that if I wasn't leaving myTV on, and I never used to do that either. So what happens is, I suddenly wake up because I hear the TV (as low as I keep it that's a miracle), so I shut it off and then realize I have my glasses on too!!
After all of that, I can't get back to sleep sometimes for hours.
THINGS . . . they are a'changin.' I think I'm getting older by the week in what used to be a year.
Lol, every single night!

All the time! I try not to as it bends and loosens the frame.

I just bought a pair of rimless glasses. They are so lite that I forget they are on even during the day. So yes, I do fall asleep with them on.

I guess I will be vulnerable here; not only do I fall asleep with my glasses on, I have been known to forget the pair of readers I had on top of my head plus the current pair I was using, lol. I also got smart and program the TV timer off function so no problem with that issue. DH just shakes his head...!

I've walked into the shower w/out removing my glasses-foggy times.

I don't fall asleep with them on; I do forget I'm wearing them and run around the house looking for them.

If I am sitting up in my rocking chair, yes I fall asleep with my glasses on.
If I go to bed, glasses are off.
