Do you do a price comparison/ check?

I ordered a food item on QVC and just happened to check the website because upon arrival there were no directions. The item was 1/2 of the price and an additional 15% off on the website! No bargain at QVC!

QVC was also showing a new item a few days ago and I checked Amazon for price comparison- Not only was the price lower by $8, but the shipping was free (saving an additional $6)

THis happens very freqiently!

Yes. And I have ordered from QVC less than five times over the past 10 years or so.

Even if the price is the same, I can almost always find free shipping.

Yes, always. You have to shop around, as prices for identical items can be vastly different. After doing it for a while, you get a feel for which sites are competitive and which are not. But even then, you can't let your guard down.

I haven't purchased from QVC for a very long time because I find better pricing elsewhere. Same with HSN. I recently bought a Shark vaccuum I had seen on HSN for $20 less at our local Walmart, and no shipping charges. I ordered on Walmart's website, then drove over to the store for curbside pickup.

I always price check and generally go with Amazon. Not only pricing but generally I can have an item in 2-3 days.

Having said that, I am in the process of downsizing so my buyiing days are not what they used to be.

I always price check, no matter what site I'm on. I can find the same thing Q is selling elsewhere for less money, promo codes, or free shipping/returns about 98% of the time.
