Do you cut open products ...

to get the very last smidgen? I recently cut open a tube of concealer and got SEVERAL more days worth of product out of it. I stand ketchup and salad dressing bottle on their top to collect the last drop. There is more in the bottom of a bottle than you might realize. Anyone else?

My husband does but I do not. I do not like the bottom of the bottle of anything. I'm all about opening a new one.

It depends what it is. By the time I empty a jar of mayo, what's left is pretty rank and dried up. I have been known to cut open plastic tubes of toothpaste though.

Toothpaste - you can buy one of those squeezy thingies to push the toothpaste from the bottom.

Food products- usually I don't. The ketchup containers will still make rude noises and squirt even turned upside-down. lol

I don't wear make up so I can't answer to that, but remember that anything touched by your fingers gets contaminated, so if it's been around for a while, it may not be worth it for the last few drops. jmo

Oh, yes I do! Toothpaste, makeup, hair products. Whatever it is, if it comes in a tube, I cut the tube to get every last drop.

DH does, I don't. I'm lazy.

I do that for shampoo, dish soap and liquid laundry detergent.

Sure! Why waste? It's not even a money thing for me but, like probably many of you, I figure there's no sense in being wasteful. I have that instilled in me, I guess, from growing up poor.

I also keep a bottle of distilled water in my bathroom closet and I water down my shampoo and conditioner to 50/50. They are way too thick as they are, so watering them down still gives plenty of thickness and potency plus I have twice as much! Smiley Happy

Many is the time you'll see an upside down bottle, propped against something, somewhere in my house.

Only when I want to sniff the last bit of paint from the can.
