I have not cooked a lot in my life. I did cook a good bit until after DH went on disability. Now that he is at home, he makes all the dinners. I must say it makes it very nice to come home from work and have a hot meal waiting for me! We do not have gourmet meals by any means, but I know DH does the best he can and he puts love into it! That means a lot!!!! If I had my choice and had time, I'd rather bake. I always enjoyed doing this much more.

I only cook on holidays and for major occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc. I don't cook on a daily basis because I have a demanding job; I leave my house at 7:30am and I don't get home until 7:00pm. Sometimes later. I don't cook on weekends because my weekends are for rest, relaxation and fun. It's just hubby and me, so there's no real reason why I have to cook. We have coffee in the morning, sometimes we'll have a bananna or grapefruit. The freezer is always stocked with Healthy Choice dinners but most of the time, we pick up a meal from a local restaurant or have one delivered to our home. I mean real food from real restaurants, not fast food. Ocassionally, we'll have a pizza or chinese delivered.

I cook a big meal every Sunday so that we have left overs for several days...it makes it nice to ocme home from work and not have to figure out what to cook. I also do lots of crockpot cooking like soups/stews/pot roast/etc.

I bake too....in fact I bake a little too much! I love sweets.
