Know many men who buy everything for themselves (DH for one), 

who would not find this approach amusing, or intriguing.

No, I don’t find it condescending.  It’s just another sales tactic.

I like having the easy-pay option, and think it's great that they acknowledged International Women's Day.😊

No, I don't consider an offer of 6 Easy Pays condescending. I do feel left out from Q's celebration though. I want a discount for paying for my purchase in full.

It's Marketing. It's capitalism. It's advertising. No different that sales on Veterans Day or Fourth of July. Just another opportunity to offer discounts or special offers. We all see it for what it is so no one is twisting our arms. The intention is to sell.
