Do you ask your doctor and go off a medication when there is a news report against it? Cholesterol latest...

I was sent an article link regarding cholesterol meds and memory loss by a friend who refuses to take the chol. med the doctor perscribed. Now this news came up. If the link disappears it is 'fda warns on cholesterol fighting drug'.
