We have an opossum that comes on our deck at night to forage around. He might even find some handouts that mysteriously show up served on a plate from time to time.  I named him Peter Possumtail.

@PansyBoo    😂😂😂. I used to have a possum show up on my porch every time I fed the cats in the morning.  He tried to blend in with them hoping I wouldn't notice.  Strangely enough the cats didn't seem to mind either!

@cheriere @PansyBoo I have a possum who also comes to eat the catfood. I don't mind it, but I do mind the racoons! they persist in messing up the porch if they don't find what they want!

LOL, luckily I haven't had to deal with raccoons.  I'll bet they do a number on your porch if they're not happy.💝🌸

I have a gang of six raccoons that visit a few nights a week. We live in a suburb of Phoenix and apparently they are everywhere. Anyway if we leave the cat food out they will eat it and drink the water. The cats don't even care. They sleep on the chairs and don't even look up.
