I don't think the baby has been born yet either.  That would mean the Palace has been covering up.  I don't think they would go that far to protect their privacy.

I was thinking back to when Charles' brother, Edward married Sophie. The wedding was a big deal, the first baby was a big deal (lots of press) and then they just kind of stepped back and raised their family. Not much coverage at all that I recall. Of course pictures at all the big events but no drama or intense media scrutiny.

I wonder if this is the way Harry and Meghan will go. Like Princess Anne and Edward...and lead fairly 'normal lives' once all the furor has died down?

Yahoo reports that Meghan and Harry say the baby hasn't been born. First babies can be late. I am again guessing a c-section, which is scheduled. She would have to go to hospital.
Doubt if it would today since it is Charlotte's birthday. That baby is taking her time

I think we will find out any day now...Regardless, it's always good news for a family to celebrate the life of a precious little one. I think it was a wise decision to kept the birth secret for now. It gives the family time to enjoy the moment without having to worry about people, news reporters, and the paparazzi sneaking around attempting to take pictures!

            I don't think the baby has already been born (eta:  I do think whenever the little one is born they'll only wait a very short time before announcing it to the public).😊
