This morning while I was driving Girls Just Want To Have Fun came on the radio. I proceeded to sing along and it made me feel happy. Anyone looking at me must have thought I was a nut! I'll only sing when I'm by myself, I do sometimes get self conscious and sing along barely moving my lips!

Oh yes, me too!!  I even wiggled around a little all by myself and didn't care who was watching!  Oh how I miss those days.

I do!  Not often, but when an old favorite comes on I go for it.

One time, alone, just pulling into a parking space at Target, the Righteous Brothers came on.  You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'.

I sat there and sang it through, happened to look over next to me, another woman in a car singing the same song along with me.  We LOL'ed.

ps Who cares what someone else thinks?    If they can't find that kind of momentary joy, that's their problem.

You gotta make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along

I did when I was hired to sing at weddings, I could practice without distracting my husband at home.  He got tired of hearing the same songs over and over.

Yep, every time Adele is on.  One time I was at a red light & had the CD cranked up to HELLO.  The person beside me rolled down her window & sang along with me...!

Absolutely!!!  Not only that, but I throw in a bit of my winning dance moves as well! 😂

I've done this with my boys for as long as I can remember. Now that they're preteen/teen, they pretend to be embarrassed by it, but I think they secretly love it.  Plus, they've learned some great dancing!

Yes, people stare at us at stop lights, and we just smile and wave!  No need to let negative nellies tread on our fun, especially if 80s on 8 on the satellite radio is especially hot!😛🎶🎶🎶
