We are the same age...I felt younger for my age until breast cancer last year, the pill I take for it every day causes stiff joints but I push through and walk three or more miles daily
and do resistance exercises. Blessed with longevity in my family, have always been slender and active, and try to stay
flexible with stretching and total gym.

It's not a secret, really.
I work out at least 5 days a week. 60-90 minutes per workout at a fairly high intensity. I eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. I'm not much of a cook, but I can manage to put meals together for myself. I gave up added sweeteners of any kind for a 30 day challenge in January and I'm pretty much sticking to that. I'm in my late 50's and retired in my mid 40's. I keep busy both physically and mentally. And I've been very, very lucky that I haven't had any injuries or other serious health problems.

I could work 40/50 hrs. a week, clean the house, get groceries, work in the yard til dark on Saturday. Sundays were running errands or traveling 4 hrs. roundtrip to see family. I was good to go.. Now it takes me twice as long to do half as much. I hate it.
There is no way to answer this question. What does any age “feel” like?
What you are experiencing is not the fault of aging.

Physically, I have the same energy level as I did when I was in my 20's. I don't feel any different except for my left knee.
It sings to me quite often and I can hear crunching when I move. I still walk my dogs twice a day and I practice sitting in the middle of the floor and getting up. I know you have to use it or lose it.
I grocery shop for myself as well as two other people and carry groceries up flights of stairs. I tend to overload my arms so I don't need to make so many trips.
I do everything I always have, except I no longer scrub floors on my knees. I can brag that I can still bend over and palm the floor or grab my ankles and I still can give myself pedicures.

I am 74 and my only complaint are spurs in each heel and one on the Achilles’ tendon which sometimes decide to hurt when I walk. Every day is a surprise: pain, no pain, a little twitch, etc.
I can get down on the floor: trouble is, it takes a lot of time and tries to get up. No kneeling to clean lower cabinets and I think my painting days are over !
Energy level can fluctuate so I take advantage of it to clean, do paperwork, read, etc.
My parents made it to 90....got a way to go hopefully !

It depends on the day.

My mind says I don't but today, my body says I do!

I am 64 this year, honestly I still think I have plenty of energy...I only go into the office 3 days a week but they are full days, I still do all the outside work except mowing, trimming, and blowing the snow, although I do shovel the sidewalks in the back yard....inside the house is my job, and if I need help with something I ask, otherwise it's my responsibiity....
DH is still active, he is 78, he goes into the office every week day and works most of the day - it is a semi physical job.....energy wise he is slowing down but deserves it, he has worked all his life.
We are both lucky to have good health. I realize others have had jobs that are really rough and drain them of energy and sometimes have had a negative effect on their health.
