I'm in my 70's.I have no idea what age I feel like. What does it feel like to be 10.30,80?All I know is I sometimes feel very old as in not much energy.I was working and feeling good until 2 years ago when I got cancer.Took so much out of me.But I am so much better now,and thankful. It all depends on your health and look on life.

I agree with many of the posters. What should any age "feel" like. We are the most active age and we're still working! Our mothers (my) grandmothers certainly sat down, (except for my grandmother, whom, was the largest business woman in town) I won't!!!

Do I feel my age? No, I feel about 20 years older than my age! I have back problems, L4 and L5 are wonky....not a professional medical term. Basically, they slide back and forth across the nerves and cause excruciating pain. I saw a surgeon who said surgery would not result in a high rate of success. Bummer. I have had at least 10 spinal injections, 2 worked for a while, but of course, the pain returned. I cannot be on my feet for more than about 10 minutes or sit for more than an hour or so. At my age I should still be able to enjoy being active, but the pain has put that on hold. Hoping something can be done to fix this, eventually!

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I think it's perfectly normal to have less energy as we age. Just wondering if you have your blood checked when you visit the Dr.? About 10 years ago, my vitamin D level tanked. I didn't know it, but I also didn't take supplements. Bringing my vitamin D level up made all the difference in the world. I digress. I turned 74 this month and shoveled my driveway this morning, so I guess I don't feel old ~ whatever that feels like. God Bless and keep moving !

I feel fine. I take it as a privilege that I no longer have to run around like a crazy person in order to run my life. My joints couldn't take it anymore, anyway. I love being 59.
I have plenty of energy and plenty to say.
I think I'm able to plan better, too, so things get done with a little less effort. And if I don't want to do something? My choice.

I don't know. I'm 72 have no diseases, illnesses, aches, pains or ailments. I feel great. I can do what I want to do. I only take thyroid replacement since having my thryoid gland removed at age 14. No other meds and no replacement parts. So, I guess I'm in pretty good shape for 72. I hope I haven't jinxed myself.

I am turning 65 this year and have noticed a huge difference in my health this year. I have a bad bad back and arthur in my spine. I am also overweight. I have been extremely active my whole life and I do all of my own cleaning, groceries, car care, 5 grandkids, many hobbies, etc. Its like all of a sudden I cant hardly go. My health is good except back pain. My DH is getting ready to retire this year and I need to be able to get my strength back but Im just tired. Also I have noticed a huge difference in my vision this year and I hate that.

At 62 I’m in pretty good health.I have a knee & lower back problem that creeps up every so often. My main issue is my energy level. Some days I’m fine & other days I’m not.I’ve learned to listen to my body & not push it.I take it slow when I have to & ride it out. I’m grateful because it could be worse.

You do so much in your life already and have the blessing of five grandchildren. Please be kind and gentle to yourself!
