Do You Have An Overwhelming Need To "Talk"?

As most of you know, and I freely admit it, I dont' have a wonderful way with words. So, I'm going to do my best to condense this little experience I had the other day in Target.

I was looking for a birthday card for my Pastor, when a younger woman was looking at cards a little ways down the aisle from me. She came over to me with a card in her hand that she was buying for her Mother-in-law. She apparently doesn't like her, and was having a hard time picking an appropriate card.

She blurted out that she just needed to say how she really felt about the "Old mule", and that is....she hates her! She thanked me for listening, which in all reality, I was stunned and speechless. I've never had anything like this happen to me before.

I told DH and he made the remark that, in his opinion, women just have an overwhelming need to talk!

I don't know if I agree with that or not. Would any of you care to share your opinion?
