I don't think it's remotely accurate. I see hardly any Hondas where we live (Santa Clara county). Lots of Toyotas and Fords, but then there's a Ford dealership in our town, so I'd expect more Fords very locally.

I think it varies. We live in PA and we only drive Subarus. But son in law is a Ford guy. Most people we know drive economical all wheel drives due to snow here, but they vary in makes and the key is none are gas hogs.

Clover, I'm to the south of you, but Toyotas and Fords are popular here, too. For Toyota...again, I'd say the Prius is the top seller. most small SUV drivers seem to prefer the Ford Escape.

My area of southern WV is definitely Chevy Silverado territory. My family owns 3 Toyota's and a Chevy Trailblazer.

Yes, definitely for my state....the western side, anyway. I live in WA, and I drive a Forester. Lots of Outbacks and Crosstreks in my area, too.
