I don't give advice unless asked.  I find that most of my friends, just want or need to vent, just have someone listen.  Most of the time I don't have any great words of wisdom.  Even though I've been married to the same man for over 37 years and I have raised two children that are productive adults, I really don't have any great secrets.  I did the best I could and that's how it turned out but everyone is different and every experience is different.  I have many friends whose lives didn't go so well, through no fault of their own.  Sometimes it's just a "roll of the dice".

I have if I see someone struggling... like in front of a shelf... looking lost at what to purchase. Surprisingly...everyone has been most appreciative.
