I couldn't text you back last night cause my battery died.

which I replied, I didn't realize you couldn't text while your battery was charging

his reply - mine is like that.

you think he is telling the truth? he has a smart phone. every phone I have you could text while charging. it's not a big deal that he didn't text back, I just don't like being lied to
