This is an interesting thread to read. I have one sibling a brother who is 6 years younger than me We grew up in the same household and remember some things similarily and others I have no clue what he is talking about. My SIL, believes one of the reasons is the age difference, being older I had to be more responsible, and left  the home years before him. I also believe some of it is just due to our personalities. I will go ahead and put it out there that I am a "glass is half empty" woman. I like a plan to follow and order.  My brother is very laid back and a "the glass if half full" type of man. Even with our different personalities, we are close for siblings. We talk and text throughout the week.  I consider him one of my best best friends.
