Are they sanitising the rides between groups of people?
@RealtyGal2 Yes, they are. And rides are not full, lots of empty spaces, rows, 6 feet markings all over where there would be lines. Employees reminding people about the new rules.

Disney World Reopening
Face Masks
Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming.
All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:
At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters and open-chin triangle bandanas are not acceptable face coverings.
Costume masks are also not considered appropriate and are prohibited from being worn, in alignment with our existing rules.
The use of face coverings is not a substitute for physical distancing.
Upon arrival at Disney Springs area or at the Walt Disney World theme parks, you may undergo a temperature screening with no-touch thermometers.
Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will be directed to an additional location for rescreening and assistance. Those with temperatures 100.4 F or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.
Physical distancing measures may include:
Enhanced Cleaning
Cleaning procedures are enhanced throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
Extra attention is given to high-traffic areas, including public elevators and escalators, handrails, benches, tables, handles, restrooms, transportation vehicles and more.
Additionally, housekeeping services have been modified at Disney Resort hotels to include enhanced cleaning and reduced contact.

There is a live stream of Disney today on YouTube. Someone taking us through the day. It looks good. We will see in a few weeks how good it really is.
Maybe the state of Florida needs to hire Disney?

I just saw a report on CNN about this and it sure looks like they are trying really hard to keep things there as safe as humanly possible.
Looks like safer conditions than some of my local supermarkets!
I hope it works out well for all involved.

Yes, it is a vacation at any cost and any risk. DD and her fam had reservations for May and were cancelled by Disney but would only give vouchers for a future visit...no refunds....so they are out $17k unless they want to put themselves and their three kids at risk. I hope there is no time limit on using them. We usually go with them, but we told them we have been on our last Disney trip. DH and I would feel so vulnerable we would be miserable rather than enjoying ourselves.

How the heck will some masks stay on during a rollercoaster that goes at high speeds? Then again, with the force of the speed, maybe they will stay on.
How about getting wet on the log ride? Maybe taking the mask off during the ride is allowed.
