My dish towels and dish rags always get so stained and ratty, even though I wash them often.

It's because of this that I don't use them.  I do use paper towels (I like the Wegman kind)  I don't like using cloth over and over again drying dishes.  I'd rather my dishes touch a clean surface.  It's worth the money.

Amazon basics, some are more than others, several colors, they have sets, also just dish towels, dish cloths,i ordered some for mom, white set of 8 ,under $4.00 a set, look up on amazon. Saves on using paper towels ,i think, for that price can't  beat that, ordered me some.

I have found Costco to be the best place by far for kitchen towels. If you look under the " while supplies last" tab they usually have many choices. They mostly come in packs of 8, and the last set I got was $6.97 for 8 really nice towels...can't beat that!

We buy the 100% cotton dish towels and cloths from Amazon. Haven't bought any in awhile because they last a long time. Bought them in dark brown and don't worry about stains with dark colors.

Will buy again if we ever need them.

I just bought a couple  Ritz brand in a hardware store.  They weren't cheap, but I wanted to support a small local biz.  I use a lot of towels because I get a new one or two out every day.  They get tired but I keep using them until they are just too bad.  I try not to use paper towels unless necessary.  Good tip about the Amazon/Costco towels.
