Disgusting Question About Insect Eggs

I know it is morning, and I hate to turn your stomach...but recently we have been finding these things that look like little black rice grains in the drawer where we keep our potholders in the kitchen. I vacuumed them all out, disinfected the drawer, and washed the potholders, but every day there are more of them. Anyone know what they are? I think they are bug eggs, but maybe they are some kind of poo from something. We've never had mice in the house, and it doesn't look like mice excrement...but who knows? Anyone else see these things? I live in northern WI. Any ideas? {#emotions_dlg.confused1}
