Disgraceful Bloomingdales Ad

Check out the link to this Bloomingdales print advertisement in their holiday catalog. It speaks for itself. This is supposed to be a classy store?? It can't hold a candle to Nordstrom.

Re: Disgraceful Bloomingdales Ad

The people who created the ad should be fired, as well as everyone who approved its publication.  How can they not know just how wrong the whole idea is?

While far from PC, how does best friend become a date?  How does spike become drug?

@occasionalrain  couldn't you say that this ad is putting thoughts into the best friend's head about putting something into the drink?

i'm not quite certain what you mean??

Wow.  That's amazing that they felt like that ad was appropriate.  Their apology didn't sound very sincere to me.

Couldn't that mean spiking it with alcohol?  They need to think of a better ad, next time.
