Some things from QVC take longer if they're coming from a vendor, which may be the case with Bose.

 

 I haven't had any QVC issues, but my orders from Anthropologie, Talbots and J Jill have been taking at least 10 days to get to me and without free shipping.  

 

I also purchased two things during Amazon Prime days and they're not here yet even though I've ordered and received several other items from them already.  

 

Events like QVC free shipping weekend and Amazon Prime days usually add time to the order time due to the volume of orders placed.

What's irritating is continually hearing "You will receive this item by This date" - how can QVC see into the future!? I've been hearing this for several years... yet know that planes go down, motor vehicles break down, weather disasters strike... and the like.  

Here's what's bad about the system: breaking down a QVC order consisting of 3 items, then trying to figure out which one item is on the way with an order number that the consumer was not given!  I understand an order of 3 items may come from 3 different vendors; if that's the case QVC should Immediately break the One order into three / Two additional orders with their respective numbers And tell the consumer. It was tremendously aggravating placing an order for 3 items under one order number, receceiving an email that an order number that I'd never known of attached to the product; But having to go back & forth in my QVC account trying to figure out 1) which item was shipped & when it was shippped; 2) juggle this with a local move from one side of town to the other; then 3) get 2 emails: first for one item as that it has shipped... 2 more emails for the same item that it will delivered soon... 2 More Emails that the item will be delivered on a particular day!  And that' for two of the three items I ordered; Then 4)... No More Emails at all about the 3rd/last item!  So this is a combination of ordering, shipping and email/communication issues that abound.

It's consistently hit & miss with QVC & shipping, I would excuse that if shipping was always free. Of course, they can learn a lot from Amazon & other retailers. As long as customers tolerate the slow shipping, etc by not shopping elsewhere, I doubt it will change.

It's been my experience within the last year that tsv items ship & are delivered in a very timely manner.

I placed a couple of orders in the last few months, and they all came within a week.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with receiving an item in 10 days? Why do we have such unrealistic shipping expectations?

Well I received my Lands end order today.  Day 19.  I'm just glad it arrived.  I have a Q order that is awaiting pick up from 10/11.  Q said it shipped 10/11 waiting 5 days says awaiting pick up.  Not sure if that tracking is correct or not.  Mail innovations.  We shall see.  Sometimes it says that and it's delivered in a day or so.

I didn't mind waiting for 10 days or what ever.  But it had not even shipped out yet when I ordered it on the 7th.   Everything else I had ordered had shipped out.

I think the order got over looked.   I wrote because they were a Big Deal and I was worried the scent I ordered would be gone.

My last item shipped on the 7th Oct and the delivery date said the 19th. I knew that was impossible and I was was right. It arrived on the 13th.

My QVC orders have shipped and have been received in about a week. Recently they've been items shipped from QVC and not a vendor.

 

Past weeks I've had delays longer than usual from Land's End, Bath & Body Works, and Kohl's. I've had Amazon Prime orders switch delivery dates to days later the moment I purchase.

 

I don't know why some customer's orders are delayed. It probably is dependent on what items are purchased.

@rvmom - is 10 days that long? If you need something that quickly, perhaps pay to have it expedited
