Disappointed in New Nook

It's great for reading books. But some of the other features are not working well. For example, I decided to listen to music via Rhapsody. My Nook would not download songs - it kept giving me a message that "network was slow" or something like that. I have no problem using my iPhone to listen to music. It works quickly. I also cannot get the Nook to download e-mail messages or connect to Facebook unless I am in the same room with the router. I don't have that problem with my laptop or my iPhone. I can use them in all areas of the house. If the Nook performance doesn't improve it's going back to QVC.
