Re: Disappearing Without a Trace

@Kachina624 I TOTALLY agree with you.  I get so angry when I've watched one of these shows (like 20/20) or some other's and at the end......well...there isn't an ending....

I feel cheated and duped.  I could never watch a show where every one of them is like that (unending).

My friend I eat with watches shows like that all of the time.  She's always trying (key word...trying) to tell me about them.  I cut her off and say, "Look!  If it doesn't haven an ending one way or another....don't tell me.  When they have an ending....tell me then!"

I believe it’s very important to watch and read about these stories so there will be a resolution EVENTUALLY. Someone has to know something that will solve the case. It’s happened before.

Re: Disappearing Without a Trace

I don’t usually watch these shows, because an unresolved mystery bothers me.

About 5 years ago, a man in a county near here walked out of his house to go hunting, and has never returned.   Hundreds of people searched for him for weeks, and found nothing; no body, not even his hat, gun, anything.   Police dogs found no scent trail to follow.

Every detail that came out about this man was that he was a good employee, good husband and father, and lived a normal life; absolutely nothing suspicious whatsoever about him.   There have been no sightings of him, or productive leads as to what happened to him.

I cannot imagine being his wife and wondering where he is.

Re: Disappearing Without a Trace

Networks report that there is a female Iowa college student missing right now. Awful. I don't watch or read true crime stories after the fact, but one cannot help but see news of current cases. Very disturbing.

Re: Disappearing Without a Trace

My husband is always watching that kind of stuff on TV and then tries to draw me into it. If you would hear these long drawn out commentaries he goes on about, I want to blow my brains out.LOL There was a prominent man in our area who disappeared 10 years ago, they finally declared him dead so his family could settle his estate. People in our area think this man was caught up in something that was illegal and painful and someone made him pay.

@drizzellla   were they ready to be consumed? What's your theory?

Like others — for the families sake, I want conclusion.

Re: Disappearing Without a Trace

Reminds me of the Richard Petrone and Danielle Imbo case of 2005.  They were driving home from an evening in Philly.  Both of them, along with their car, have never been seen again.  It is considered a murder-for-hire.  I have always wanted resolution to this case.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
