Direct tv Question

So I know that it gets extremely cold in other parts of the world and direct tv can't go out every time it gets really cold. Or does it? It's been below 0 for the last 2 nights and direct tv has gone out both times. Is there something you guys do to keep it from going out so much? It's been snowing quite a bit and it only went out once. I had to go wipe the snow off the dish.

Anyway, any advice would be great.
