Dino and Baby pup are back home.....

The vet called this morning to tell me that they got Baby pup's cremains back.I just got home from picking them up.I put both her and Dino, side by side (as they were so often in life),atop the fireplace mantle.

The house is sooo quiet.Bailey cat's not a big "meow-er". Life,especially over the last 6 weeks revolved around the dogs med-schedule,potty schedule,feeding schedules.....now,it's all so empty.DH,DS and I worked our schedules so the pups were never home alone.

We will be ok.The pain will subside.We will in all likelyhood adopt again,someday.We are dog-people,no doubt about it.(cat-people too!)

It comforts me to have them back.DD has Spring Break in a week.I'm looking forward to having the whole family under one roof.
