Dining with historical figures!

[ Edited ]

Who would you like to invite to a large, catered get-together or a small

intimate dinner?

My choices ~

King Tut
Cleopatra
Henry VIII
Christopher Columbus
Bach
Ben Franklin
Susan B. Anthony
George Gershwin
Duke and Duchess of Windsor

Gandhi
Amelia Earhart
Rosa Parks
Edward R. Murrow

FYI ~ I use to enjoy watching Steve Allen's "Meeting of Minds" program on PBS (late 70s/early 80s).

Re: Dining with historical figures!

There are so many

I would  pick  Christ ,and St Peter, St Joesph, because he is a man of mystery  The Blessed Mother ,of course

The people I would  most like to meet from modern times ,are Churchill ,and Ike, because they saved democracy.

You took my answer.  Always will be the only one I would need to dine with other than the one above. (Heaven above)

Re: Dining with historical figures!

Delphine LaLaurie

Ilse Loch

Ivan the Terrible

Pol Pot

Himmler

Stalin

Any serial killer and so many others.

Plus, their parents.

I would like to "see" them and listen to the who, what, when, where, why, and how they became so evil.  What tripped their wire?  Why the need to destroy?  What drove them and what "pleasure" did they feel ... or did they even feel?

Doing good I can understand.  Pure evil I can't.  Hope I never do, but it does interest me.
