It's a cold 57 degrees in my neck of the woods ... NWS is predicting we'll have 13 foot waves along Lake Michigan, including parts of Chicago's lakefront:

a large body of water: Waves crash into the shoreline at Portage, Indiana, on Lake Michigan.

@SoX   I hear you.  It's cold, windy, and monsooning off and on here in NE Ohio today.  I'm tired of being cold and wet!

I'm in Chicago too.

When I went for my walk this morning, it was freezing.  We've had so much rain too.

I’m in NW Indiana - kinda gloomy here today, too, but I’m not complaining about the temperature.  My kitchen window is opened and fresh air is coming in.  The heat and humidity will be here soon enough.

@SoX: So...Chicago is to blame for the chilly, rainy weather here in SE Michigan today. Smiley Tongue

Re: Did you say June?

[ Edited ]

It's only 79° here right now. Really weird since it's always HOT in June. LOL!!!

We have had so much rain guess it's kept the temp down.

Suppose to get some 90's starting mid week next week.

They said we were going to have below normal temps June, July & Aug.

We are still suppose to get more rain.

If it does not stop the farmers will not be able to plant their crops? Some still have to wait for all these flood waters to run off plus wait for the fields to dry enough.
