@gidgetgh wrote:Just started working on changing them. I HATE the fall time change. I've been wide awake since 4:30. My husband is wide awake. It's gonna be a long day. I'm one of those where the extra hour of sleep is lost on me. I just don't sleep well and giving me an extra hour's sleep is a wasted gift.
Counting the days Dec. 22nd, when the days will start getting longer again. I hate it getting dark so early. I feel like I go into hibernation mode as soon as it's dark outside.
I'm with you. I sleep poorly too, so it is a wasted hour. My DH laughs when I say that I can't wait for December 22nd to get here.

I had to force myself to stay in bed the extra hour.
When I did get up, I reset all the digital clocks only to have the power go out an hour later for about 20 seconds!
Not funny JCP&L.

With the exception of the clock on my stove, all of mine change automatically. Good thing since I did not hear a single reminder to change them!

I set my scales back 10 pounds

@staciesmom I always hated the time change when we had a dog. It takes them weeks to get back on schedule, and until they do ours would be waking me up at 4AM because she had to go. My normal time to get up for work was 5AM,and her bladder would just refuse to adjust.

I'm a morning person so this time change is great for me! I love it when the sun comes up "earlier".
Makes me want to start my day right away.![]()

It's 8:21. I've already colored my hair, eaten breakfast (with the hair dye on- it was a lovely sight), taken a shower, gotten dressed and put on my makeup. My husband has already taken his shower. I just started a load of laundry and my husband is cutting/cooking the squash so I can make squash casserole for lunch....... which will be 3 and a half hours from now.
Again, I've done all this and it's 8:21. Oh.... and I've been on these boards all morning as well as Facebook.
I'll be ready for bed at 2 this afternoon at this rate.
I know exactly what you mean, and it's not pretty at all

This will be me late this afternoon.

Yes... I just set them this morning after I got up. I still got up my normal time... 4 AM even though with the change it was now 3AM.
