I had a terrible experience with my Emjoi the first time I used it. I woke up in the middle of the night with one of my heels burning terribly. During the day I did not have discomfort but for a few nights there was a great deal.
After that experience I went back to my foot file.

Pretty Feet and Hands is less irritating (podiatrist recommended years ago for a relative). But, don't use it now. Your feet must heal first. You might want to call the company's CS and ask what you should use on them. Or maybe see a dermatologist.

Please wear those socks over your heels to keep from getting an infection and keep your heels clean. I'm afraid they will be very sensitive for the next 3 or four days. Take care.
Thank you I put some Neosporin on my heels because the coconut oil did not help and I still have my socks on.
