Ohhhh, I love 'That Girl' too. She was just fabulous in the sweetest way - and beautiful too.
But then, it wouldn't be so bad to be Samantha Stephens either and have that nose-twitching advantage. Imagine that!

We liked the girls on Petticoat Junction. Anyone remember that show? Also remember one of my sisters wanting to be Mary Anne on Gilligans Island. Another wanted to be Marsha Brady

I had to bring this post back after finding the article and photos below this morning about a lot of the women we wanted to be and or admired back in our younger days.

Well, I don't think I ever really wanted to be a fictional character, but I have to admit that I thought Ally MacBeal's character had a quirky, exciting, humorous life, even though she was kind of a depressed person at times. I guess I found her life more fascinating than she did.

tansy, I remember Sky King, Penny and the Song Bird well. My dad flew at the time and I just 'lived' a lot in that series. Daddy did take me up now and then and I loved it so much,.
