I did.  I loved my pale yellow walls.  When I started junior high my Mom special ordered a bulletin board that covered almost an entire wall in my bedroom.  I loved filling that up with mementos.  Once it got too full to hold my drill team mums I started pinning them to my curtains on the window.  Down side was I could not open my curtains but the dried flowers and ribbons were beautiful in school colors.

My parents must have been good eggs when I was a teen. Allowed me to paint my bedroom, including ceiling, high gloss black. Deal was, it was my responsibility to change it when the time came. My teenage boyfriend and I did. Went to a pretty shade of lilac. I can definitely understand my dad making me accept the responsibility! What a pain in the arse🥴

I never had a phone though.

I had double windows anda long dresser.  I had a very large glass animal collection.  Lots of horses because I road them.

I don't even remember where I got them!!!

In high school my room was painted tangerine, & I had a big poster of Bob Dylan, as well as pics of my huge crush, Jim Morrison.

But about that Dylan poster:

Our dad had bought an apartment house in a really bad part of town. The worst, actually.

Anyway, they'd evicted a tenant for drug use, & brought us all over there to clean out his apartment. It was a mess; mattress on the floor, paraphernalia, etc. 

I took the Dylan poster off his wall and put it up on mine.

Lol!

Wish I'd kept it, because it's worth some money today.
