As I was turning the TV "off" this morning, Shawn was talking about all the shoppers out there and that somewhere in the nation there was a lot of road rage going on, then she said, AWESOME!!!

She was making the point of being able to shop from home and not having to deal with the Black Friday frenzies.

I thought that was a poor choice of wording....JUST SAYING!!!!

"Awesome" and "amazing" are very overused

words.

Yes, that was a poor choice of words.  Not surprising considering the source.  I ventured into Wal-Mart today and had no issues what-so-ever.

I didn't hear that because I don't listen when I have no intention of buying, but I doubt I would have been upset.

Shawn is a great host and at the end of the day, she's only human.  People act like buffoons on Black Friday and online shopping does make more sense.

The word "awesome" spoken after something bad is supposed to be interpreted as sarcasm . . . . i.e. "The zipper on my skirt broke this morning and then my car wouldn't start.  Now I'm late for work.  AWESOME!"
