What did Will's mother tuck into the neckline of her shirt at the end? Anything significant?
I had to put on the closed captioning. That Scottish brogue!!
It was one of those medical alert type chains.
I think it may have indicated that she was the source of the prescription meds he supposedly used to inject Foyle.

I loved it. Really like David Tennant. I can't wait to see the American version of Broadchurch (but I'd rather see more of the British version.)
BTW, last night's show-what was in the box that the female barrister found in her own apt?

Judaline...it was a very special tea, her favorite. In an earlier scene she showed and talked about it to her (I guess) BF. They were the only two at the table.
or...he didn't inject Rx meds. He injected (my understanding) more of the stuff he was allergic to.

I really like this show. Kept you thinking. I wondered, too, about that gift box and also what his mother hid in her shirt at the end. Glad you guys cleared that up, at least we can have our own ideas what his Mom hid in her shirt. I thought it was a well done show. Felt so sorry for that little boy.....

That's what I thought, too, but it was confusing till you thought about it later.

I think this is the worse program I ever saw on Masterpiece. The plot was ridiculous and the dialogue was worse. None of the characters was believable. Just because it says ""Masterpiece"" doesn't make it one.

I think it's re-run on Thursday evening so a second viewing may be enlightening.

I agree, it was a medic alert necklace, indicating that he got the epi pen from her. Fleeting look though so I'm sure a lot of people missed it.
