...left the Christmas trees up a little longer this year, and that they are still playing music with a bit of a background jingle?

I did notice that the trees were up longer after Christmas and was glad to see it.

Actually the holiday season for a lot of people doesn't end until the Epiphany which is Wednesday. My guess is they are waiting out of respect for those who celebrate until then.

I doubt that. They just left them up a bit longer either because people complained about how fast they used to come down or they just haven't done it yet,maybe the crew was off for a few days. They would have to decorate for all the many holidays of all people,

if that were the fact!!!

My guess is that they get more sales from having those decorations up than they do when they take them down early. More people see the trees and stuff and remain in the" shopping mood".If the set is cleared out and pristene ,New Yrs Resolutions not to shop,click in pretty fast!!!! ...lol
