Did anyone else go to the NY State Fair?

If so, what did you think of it? DH and I went on Sunday for the first time in my life. I thought it was nice enough, but I guess I was expecting more.......not sure what. We had a difficult time finding our way around to make sure we saw everything, even following the map. I'm glad we went, but I won't be disappointed if we never go again. We stayed overnight in Syracuse, and then we went shopping yesterday before driving home. All in all it was a nice little trip.
