My nic is there but I show up as "invisible".  Story of my life around here.  LOL!

That means you clicked a setting in your preferences, so you won't show on the list.  I am invisible too.

Not sure if you are joking, cakers, but that's a privacy setting that you chose at some point. I did, too.

Blogs & Forum
and it's listed on the left side of page
as "Online Now."

You can set your privacy settings to indicate if you want to remain invisible. I prefer that , because I let my computer run, while I am away doing other things, and in the past someone always had something nasty to say ,about people that  did this. Not that I see its anyones business where people are, as long as it isnt' illegal
