Did Anyone Else Go to a Food Truck Rodeo?

The first Wednesday of every month, it's a food truck rodeo at our local historical museum parking lot. There are 20 trucks or so, live bands, free admission to the museum and a few thousand people attend.

I love the food trucks and the variety of foods they showcase. I'd rather go to the rodeo, get a spring roll appetizer from Thai Me Up, a burrito main course, and a southern style dessert, while sitting in the sun and enjoying the crowd.

The owners of the food trucks are some of the most inventive, exciting chefs around.

Anyone else have food truck rodeos?

Yeah, we have them here at the Santa Anita Racetrack...once we had one at work over a weekend, for a big sale, but it was like a " mini" ...only about 6 food trucks.....

They are all over here in Los Angeles. I don't go. Somehow, the trucks and the employees don't seem very clean. Also, I don't eat a lot of the offerings that are promoted. Not a GrubFest fan.

Our local trucks are almost all owned by gourmet chefs.

They even have an annual ""Top Chef"" type contest.

They are very clean.
