No...really?! Loved her in all her roles. She was elegant, well spoken and an amazing actress. She will be missed.

Oh that is sad! I loved her talent. Her daughter Rachel Sterling is one of my favorite actresses. Diana Rigg had such an amazing life. Although born in England, she got sent away at 2 months old to live in India. Stayed there till she was 8 and spoke Hindi as a second language. When she got back to England, it was the first time she ever saw it since she was a tiny baby.

I enjoyed watching Diana Rigg for years, as Mrs Peel and then as James Bond's one-and-only wife. More recently I saw her in person as Mrs Higgins in "My Fair Lady" at Lincoln Center. She was terrific, as usual

Her daughter, Rachel Stirling, said Rigg died of cancer that was diagnosed in March ( the type of cancer wasn't named in the Foxnews article I just read).

@Pearlee Loved watching the Avengers. I believe it was ahead of its time as far as crime fighting was concerned and a very sophisticated couple. Sad to hear Mrs Peel is deceased.

Diana Rigg as Mrs. Peel was the epitome of cool to my crowd when The Avengers was a hit TV show.! The smooth hair style, the "Mod" outfits, the sophistication! We all tried to be like her......

Wonderful career. Loved her as the most formidable mother-in-law ever in Game of Thrones....
