Oh, and when 100-facet came out, I bought it exclusively.  What a difference!

The best CJ ring I ever bought was a 5 carat from Suzanne Somers on HSN.   I only wear it when I go to Las Vegas.  The sterling silver setting has never tarnished and I always get compliments!

I don't think cubic zirconia is as popular as it once was.  Moissanite has replaced cz as a diamond substitute.

People should know that the Moissanite you see is lab grown.

All Moissanite is lab grown.  They don't hide that.  The natural Moissanite is extraordinarily rare and  and was never used in jewelry.  It's found embedded in some meteorites.

CZs were created to look like diamonds. Lab created diamonds are diamonds. But Moissanite was never created to look like diamonds b/c they are their own stone. They don't look like diamonds b/c they sparkle way more than diamonds.

If you can buy a lab-grown diamond at a reasonable price, why waste your money on a fake?

I remember the various colors of Diamonique......They were'nt necessarily meant to look 'real'......just beautiful, sparkly vibrant colors.

Bright pink, bright lime, bright yellow-gold, etc.

Mostly solitaire, not a lot of tiny stones all around (halo).

I prefer solitaire styles.

'Anyway', nice that Diamonique items (hopefully still) have a lifetime guarantee.  Nice, especially if one of those tiny stones falls off.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
