Desperate Housewives young actress

The actress who plays Juanita Solis on Desperate Housewives is the half sister of Demi Lovato. ( maternal half sister ) It is rather sad that she has at her young age a weight problem. I wonder if that series doesn't want to pay the young actress who plays Celia Solis. She appears for a few seconds and never says anything.
