I have been researching depression (clinical). I would appreciate if someone here could help me out with some answers.
A person has experienced a LOT of disappointment in the last year...... on TWO separate fronts. The person is withdrawn with their feelings (but always has been....won't talk to anyone about things), can be very hateful, is insulting at the drop of a hat, but is very sensitive to anything said to them.
Does this sound like depression to you, OR just a snotty thoughtless person?
The spouse has tried so many ways to deal with the bad moods, to no avail. It is VERY frustrating to them, and wonders if there is something else to try.
I don't know how to advise someone like that to go to the Dr. That would be another cause for negative behavior.
Anything sound familiar? Anyid eas? TIA
