Depression and the Holidays

This year, my DH and I both lost our mothers. This is our 1st Christmas without them. I lost an uncle the first week of Oct.

Looking at our own mortality as my DH is progressive muscular disease and I watch him slowly declining.

Just a sad Holiday this year. There are no gifts under our tree (it isn't about gifts) but I feel so empty when I couldn't go out and buy a gift for our moms this year..I missed that.

I just need to vent and wipe away the tears. So many have more hardships/problems. Thanks for letting me vent.

Merry Christmas. Enjoy your loved ones as you never know what tomorrow will bring.
