@caroln242 seems to like beautiful things. The dentures would be in her mouth when she has guest. That might be her own private bathroom. A guest has no right to enter and ask what is this beautiful case used for?
@caroln242 post a picture of the case you decided to use.
Thanks! I'll do a little shopping around but I think that one from Amazon with the antique mercury glass that I posted earlier is really pretty. I'll post back when I decide which one to get.

I guess you could glue rhinestones or silk flowers on it and make it suitable for your coffee table.
I completely understand what @caroln242 is trying to say. Makes sense and I hope you find something.
But i I had to snicker at this from @Kachina624 . Just visualizing that sounded funny!

Just a warning. Some decorator items aren't meant for food consumption. Not that you'd be eating out of the mercury glass holder, but your dentures would be in there.
Not sure if you were going to *soak* them in it (or just store), but be careful. Paints or other treatments could leach out.

@caroln242 wrote:Has anyone noticed how ugly denture cases are? As a new denture wearer myself, and being in the baby boomer age group, I recently went looking for a designer denture case and came up dry. Same old plastic cases, different colors but same ugly shape that screams "false teeth" in here! I wonder why this market been so ignored. There are approximately 65 million baby boomers and 41 million denture wearers. Many of us want pretty designer cases that complement our surroundings, not ugly plastic ones that need to be hid in a drawer. As far as untapped markets go, I think products for denture wearers has been seriously overlooked.I wish someone would come up with ideas for a product like this. Or have I just not found the right website? I've tried Etsy, Amazon, etc., but no luck.
@caroln242 I actually think that's a great idea and I get where you are coming from. It seems like a simple and useful thing for someone to improve on. Those awful plastic things are not pretty. While some of us are blessed with good teeth, those who are not should at least have something pretty.

Just never mind. Sorry I posted.
@caroln242 ...Don't ever allow the rudeness of another poster get to you. You owe them no apology, and it is that person who owes you one. You are fairly new here and I remember what it was like when I was new. Just keep posting and ignore the Nay Sayers. I'm with you, I don't like ugly things in my home either. ![]()

I read your post twice because I thought you MUST be kidding ... guess not.
Uh, WHY do you think you need to leave denture cases out ... even if it was a "designer" case? Would you also want to leave out a "designer" tampon holder? Some other very, very personal item? Please!
Too many people have too much kwap out on display already ... you need to display your dentures? Seems rather gross, or didn't that ever occur to you?
Suggestion ... if you persist in thinking you must display your dentures on a counter, in a "designer" case, go through Ebay, etc and look at decorative dusting powder boxes. Some even come in bone china, but there are usually a huge variety to search through.
Better yet, just put them away.

Oh, good point! Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but after so much discussion about denture cases, I though you all might like to see what I finally came up with! I took to heart the warning about some containers not being safe, so I went with one other suggestion about creating my own! I'm not the craftiest person in the world, but I thought this turned out fairly nice. It's not a container, it covers my denture case. I bought a cheap round box at Hobby Lobby and covered it with scraps I had laying around the house. Total cost, about $2.00 I'd say.

@caroln242 that's nice and attractive- you did well... And oh by the way, I came across something called "denturevault".. it looks like a candle of sorts but far as I can see none are to be had..
Glad you found something that makes you
and looks pretty!!
