The best time to go is during the summer. We went on a cruise (saw Glacier Bay). Also, went on a sea plane and the White Pass train,  while in Alsaka.

I live in Fairbanks, about two hours from Denali National Park. If you are traveling from Anchorage, options are the train (about 7 hour ride) or drive (about 4-5 hrs). Here is the site for the train: https://www.alaskarailroad.com/

To see a lot of the park, the best thing to do is book a bus tour. You can take a bus part way in or all the way to Wonder Lake. Here's the site for the park: https://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/index.htm

The bus ride takes most of a day or a full day, depending upon how far you want to ride into the park. You would probably want to spend the night and then take the bus into the park, as it is a busy day.

It's a beautiful area. Hope you get to enjoy it.
