Defective Skybar Wine Opener Call

I just received a call to say stop using the skybar wine opener. Apparently wine bottles have broken when using the opener. Message said to stop using it and QVC will get back to me in about 3 weeks to let me know what they've decided to do. Has anyone else gotten a call?
