Somewhat like a goat, they will eat anything.  They have eaten my whole rosebushes on the back lot which you would think they would not because of the thorns, but that did not deter them.

I love watermelon too.  Wish I lived someplace where I could leave the rinds out for deer - and other critters - to enjoy.

Every dog I ever had loved it too.  What's not a love about watermelon?

I would think deer would eat any type of fruit and watermelon is a good one, sweet and tasty!!!!  I'm sure that meal was enjoyed and appreciated by the two cuties!!!!!

Great pictures as usual. We have been putting out watermelons for years since we moved here in 2000.

My wife's cousin grows them and always gives my wife plenty of leftovers. We slice them into quarters and deer love them.

Re: Deer love watermelon ๐Ÿ‰

Liked seeing the picture. Guess the deer liked eating it. They have to bulk up for winter.

Our cat liked watermelon. We would put chunks in his bowl. He would stick out his claws and scoop the watermelon out of the bowl and eat the watermelon off his paw.
