I refuse to sell my beautiful bags for $40 a piece at a yard sale because people are cheapskates.
@agb80 @You could try Poshmark.

@agb80 I would think $20 for any handbag is good at a garage sale.
Basic rule of yard sale price is one tenth of what you paid full price

Apologies if anyone has mentioned this already, @rms1954 , but have you taken a look at the ongoing thread of @rnmom over in the Home Forum? It's called "Declutter 2021: What Have You Purged Today?".
It's a major source of inspiration to all on the decluttering and organizing road, as people report their successes, fails, and just great ideas for decluttering. A bonus is that the posters on that thread are unfailingly helpful and encouraging.
Congrats on your sale! We just had a yard sale at the end of May. Even though my major method of getting rid of stuff is to donate, I was pleasantly surprised at how much we were able to unload at our sale (despite hideous weather.)
My favorite youtube source for decluttering tips is Dana K. White-- great, proven ideas that work, and she's drily funny to boot.

I too love to donate to my local domestic voilence and homeless shelters. They tell me how much help it is and is so needed and appreciated.

Awhile ago, an acquaintance bought one of my Dooney handbags for $100 and I included a matching cosmetic bag. She got a great deal from me and she knew it but later regretted the purchase because said it was a want and not a need and sold it on ebay although I have no idea what she got for it. It was in perfect condition, absolutely emaculate, no stains, no marks, no odors and beautiful to look at. 95% of my bags are the same. I don't even want to sell the 5% that are not in perfect condition.
