So now that Oprah is no longer on TV we're gonna have to find somewhere else to go to tell all of our tales of woe...all the times it snowed on our birthdays (canceled), close to Christmas (people out of town), close to Christmas (money tight) and on and on.

I'd hear, "But your birthday is special.  It's close to when Jesus was born". 

I didn't know it then but I now read that actually Jesus wasn't born on December 25...Hummm????

Anyway, happy birthday you sweet ladies.  I hope you both had a wonderful day.

In our house we call them Hanuka birthdays.  They tend to last at least a week.  Soak it for all you can.  It only happens once a year and every day above ground is a good day.
